The 16-time Grammy Award winner paused during her set to address her son, who was attending one of her shows for the first time. Fighting back tears, Adele revealed the primary reason for choosing a residency over a traditional tour: "I chose to do a residency mainly because I f---ing hate touring. But I chose to do a residency so I could keep his life normal, and I did do that." She expressed deep gratitude to Angelo for his patience throughout her demanding schedule, adding, "I love you to bits."
During the show, Adele’s fiancé, sports agent Rich Paul, also received a heartfelt acknowledgement. Thanking him for his unwavering support, she said, “You always make me feel like I can do whatever I want to do.” The emotional exchange highlighted the personal sacrifices and support systems that underpinned Adele’s successful run in Las Vegas.

The residency, which began in late 2022, became a defining chapter of Adele’s career, drawing fans from around the globe and solidifying her reputation as one of music’s most powerful live performers. However, as the final curtain fell, Adele reflected on an uncertain future. “I don’t know when I’m next going to perform again”, she told the audience. While she joked about having no immediate plans, she reassured fans: “Of course I’ll be back. The only thing I’m good at is singing and things like that.”
