Ariana Grande is not done singing, and she's not done teasing, either.

In a post shared with fans this week, Grande reassured followers that despite her growing list of acting credits, music is still her “lifeline.” More notably, she hinted that live performances could return in 2025, writing: “I’m working on a plan to sing for you all next year... even if it’s just for a little.”

While no formal tour announcement has been made, the message was enough to spark speculation across social media, where fans debated the possibility of a mini-tour or even a series of intimate one-off shows.

Grande hasn’t toured since her 2019 Sweetener World Tour, and her latest album, Eternal Sunshine, released in early 2024, still hasn’t received any accompanying live performances. The update marks the first time she’s publicly acknowledged concrete plans to bring her music to the stage again.

The post accompanied another major announcement: she’ll be voicing a lead character in the animated film adaptation of Oh, The Places You’ll Go!, directed by Jon M. Chu (Wicked, Crazy Rich Asians) and set for IMAX release in March 2028. She’ll star alongside Josh Gad, with music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman).

Still, Grande made it clear that her acting roles are not replacing her music career, just existing alongside it. “There will need to be room made for all of it,” she wrote, acknowledging that her creative path might not follow its previous trajectory. “I much prefer how it looks in my head,” she added.

While reactions to her Hollywood ventures have been mixed among fans, with some worried she might be leaving music behind, the overwhelming response to her “soft-launch” of a tour suggests anticipation remains high.
