Beyoncé made NFL history this Christmas, taking centre stage at Netflix’s inaugural NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show. Performing in her hometown of Houston, the 32-time Grammy winner stunned audiences with her first-ever live renditions of tracks from her latest album, Cowboy Carter.
The show opened with a cinematic touch as Beyoncé rode through the NRG Stadium tunnels on a white horse, singing “16 Carriages”. After dismounting, she was joined by country talents Tiera Kennedy, Tanner Adell, Reyna Roberts, and Brittney Spencer for a soulful rendition of The Beatles’ “Blackbird”.

The halftime show, produced by Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and Jesse Collins Entertainment, is reportedly part of a three-project deal with Netflix worth a staggering $60 million. The partnership began with the 2019 concert film Homecoming, and now Beyoncé’s dynamic Christmas Day performance marks another milestone in the collaboration.
Fans were treated to a show full of dazzling choreography, elaborate costumes, and unforgettable moments, cementing Beyoncé’s place as one of the most iconic performers of our time.
