Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour has officially touched down in London, and the opening night at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium had everything: a dazzling setlist, viral fan moments, and a professional recovery from a wardrobe slip mid-performance.

Wearing a glittering gold bodysuit and chaps, the 43-year-old star launched into “I’m That Girl” when her chaps unexpectedly dropped to the floor. Beyoncé quickly bent down, picked them up with a smile, and seamlessly kept dancing, turning a mishap into a moment. A dancer soon joined her to secure the outfit, and the show continued without missing a beat. Fans online were quick to praise her for how effortlessly she handled the situation, calling the recovery “flawless” and “iconic.”
The London show, part of a 32-date global tour, is one of six back-to-back nights at the stadium—the only UK dates currently on Beyoncé’s 2025 schedule. Demand has been sky-high since tickets went on sale in February, with shows selling out in minutes, echoing the frenzy around her 2023 Renaissance World Tour.

The surprises didn’t stop at the outfit fix. Toward the end of the show, Beyoncé added “Energy” from her Renaissance album to the setlist for the first time on this tour. The crowd erupted as she reintroduced the beloved “mute challenge,” prompting thousands to go completely silent on cue before the beat dropped. The moment, a fan favorite from her last tour, returned in full force to rapturous cheers.

Also making it into the set was Rob49’s “WTHELLY,” showing Beyoncé’s continued attention to what’s fresh and current in music. Alongside new Cowboy Carter tracks like “Texas Hold ’Em” and “II Most Wanted,” she also treated fans to classic hits including “Love On Top,” “Crazy in Love,” and “Halo.”
With five more shows to go in London and Paris next on the schedule, it’s safe to say Beyoncé is just getting started.
