Beyoncé’s New Wax Figure Sparks Debate Among Fans

Madame Tussauds Orlando’s latest attempt at capturing Beyoncé’s likeness has some fans seeing Victoria Monét and Lil Mama instead

Madame Tussauds has unveiled a new wax figure of Beyoncé in their Orlando location, designed to reflect her Cowboy Carter era. Dressed in a denim jacket and shorts, a Willie Nelson T-shirt, a black cowboy hat, and flag-printed ankle boots, the statue was meant to honor the singer’s latest chapter.

However, many fans aren’t convinced the figure truly resembles Queen Bey. Instead, some have pointed out that it bears a closer resemblance to R&B star Victoria Monét or rapper Lil Mama. Reactions on social media ranged from confusion to disappointment, with comments like, “Something’s not right,” and “Why’d they give her tired eyes?”

This isn’t the first time a wax figure of Beyoncé has missed the mark. Past figures, including one from her Formation era, have faced similar backlash over accuracy.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly weighing legal action against Kanye West after he made offensive remarks about their twins, Rumi and Sir, in a now-deleted post on X. Sources claim the couple found his words “vulgar and offensive” and are exploring how best to respond.

The Carters have historically maintained strong privacy around their children, rarely bringing them into the public eye. Beyoncé previously shared in an interview that she structures her life around her kids, ensuring they have as much normalcy as possible despite her global fame.
