"This year, doing something a little different. This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE", she captioned the post. "No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation.".

Aguilera emphasized the importance of self-acceptance, writing, "I celebrate everyone taking the time to put one step in front of the next every day in order to build the next version of themselves for the better.".

In an interview earlier this year, the "Genie in a Bottle" singer opened up about years of body shaming and the challenges of navigating the industry’s fixation on her weight. Aguilera admitted that much of her early self-esteem was tied to her appearance but has since found peace in embracing her body on her terms.
