Justin Timberlake is facing criticism from fans after a series of performances where the singer appeared to do minimal live singing on stage.
Although Timberlake’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour officially concluded in February, the singer has remained active with festival appearances and special concerts across Europe. However, fans attending his recent shows have shared videos accusing the former *NSYNC member of not delivering full vocal performances.
In one widely circulated TikTok video from Timberlake’s July 17 concert in Romania, the singer begins his hit song “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” but stops singing just moments into the first verse. After delivering the song’s opening words, he pulls up his hood and extends the microphone to the crowd. For nearly the entire verse, Timberlake refrains from singing, while the audience participation fades as the chorus approaches.

The video’s caption reads, “When you pay for a concert but get a mute singer,” adding, “Dude took a day off on stage.”
Fans say this wasn’t an isolated incident. Similar clips from his June 14 show in Denmark and June 28 show in Ireland show Timberlake repeating the same behavior during “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”
At Lollapalooza Paris on Sunday, July 21, Timberlake was again seen clapping along to the final chorus of his ballad “Mirrors” without singing a single note, prompting viewers online to dub his shows “the Justin Timberlake karaoke tour.”

“People paid to watch him sing,” one commenter wrote. Another added, “He could at least lip sync, but he doesn’t care at all.”
As of now, Timberlake has not issued a public response. His next scheduled performance is set for July 27 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
