A disturbing moment unfolded during Halsey’s concert in Washington, D.C., when a concertgoer was caught on video groping the singer mid-performance. The incident took place at The Anthem on November 4 as part of Halsey’s Back to Badlands tour.

Footage from the event, shared by The New York Post, shows Halsey performing “Is There Somewhere” while interacting with the crowd from the edge of the stage. In the clip, an audience member reaches out and places their hand on Halsey’s thigh, before moving further beneath her skirt. A nearby security guard quickly intervened, shoving the fan’s hand away. Halsey continued performing without interruption.

The video has since gone viral, sparking widespread condemnation across social media. Fans have called out the incident as an act of blatant disrespect and violation. “Respect Halsey and DO NOT touch her or anyone like this without their consent,” one fan account wrote on X. Another post read, “Have we not learned respect? There’s no excuse for this.”

The Back to Badlands tour, which began in Los Angeles, is set to continue through February with multiple U.S. dates before heading overseas. Despite the recent string of challenges—including a brief hospital stay last week in Boston following a “minor medical emergency”—Halsey remains committed to performing for her fans.
