Jennifer Lopez’s extravagant taste came against an equally extravagant price tag when planning her wedding to ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez. According to their former wedding planner, Marcy Blum, J.Lo briefly considered having Bruno Mars perform at her reception—until she learned his price.

On the "The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast", Blum revealed, "She asked about Bruno Mars, and I mentioned that I’d just worked with him for another wedding where his fee was $5 million for a 45-minute set". Lopez’s reaction? “Don’t be ridiculous!”.

The lavish plans never materialized, as Lopez and Rodriguez called off their engagement in 2021 after postponing their 2020 wedding due to the pandemic. Shortly after their split, Lopez reignited her romance with Ben Affleck, with whom she had been famously engaged in the early 2000s.

Lopez and Affleck eventually tied the knot in 2022 in Las Vegas, followed by a formal ceremony in Georgia. However, recent headlines reveal that the pair filed for divorce in August, marking another chapter in Lopez’s complex love story.
