Joe Jonas Shrugs Off Viral Backstage Video: “You Never Had a Booger?”

Joe Jonas is brushing off an unexpected viral moment with humor.

The 36-year-old Jonas Brothers singer responded after fans circulated a TikTok video of him backstage during a recent concert. In the clip, Jonas appeared to be checking his reflection in a mirror before wiping his nose with a cloth. At one point, he seemed to pick his nose, prompting quick reactions online.

The original account that posted the video has since gone private, but not before fans grabbed screenshots of Jonas’ own comment: “lol you never had a booger?”

Supporters were quick to defend him, reminding others that he was simply making sure he looked presentable before returning to the stage. One fan wrote, “Y’all leave Joe alone…the man was making sure he didn’t have any boogers in his nose. Goodness.”

Jonas has long embraced sharing awkward moments with fans. In 2023, he admitted in a radio interview that he once had to deal with an onstage accident after misjudging a “toot” while wearing white clothing. “It was like a mid-wardrobe change during the set,” he joked.

Currently, Jonas is on the road with brothers Nick and Kevin for the JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour. The shows have featured surprise appearances from Kelsea Ballerini, Ryan Cabrera, the Plain White T’s, and even a Fifth Harmony reunion.
