Kelly Clarkson’s 8-year-old son, Remington “Remy” Alexander, is already melting hearts and showing the world he’s got a flair for the spotlight. On the Wednesday, Nov. 26 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the proud mom shared a moment that had everyone smiling from ear to ear.
Before the show even started, little Remy decided he was ready to make his big debut. With the confidence of a seasoned performer, he asked, “Who do I need to speak to to sing my song?” And just like that, he was on stage, serenading the audience with a charming rendition of Frank Sinatra’s timeless classic, “My Way.”
The clip played during the show captured the magic: Remy standing tall with a microphone in hand, nailing every lyric as the show’s band played along. His big sister, 10-year-old River Rose, was right there in the audience, singing along with pride. It was a moment so pure, so full of joy, it was impossible not to feel the love.
“They’re so fun. I love my kids so much”, Clarkson said, beaming. Reflecting on her son’s impromptu performance, she laughed, “He just walked right in today and said, ‘Okay, let’s do this.’ And I thought, ‘Alright, sir!’”
This isn’t the first time Clarkson’s kids have stolen the spotlight. Back in August, during her Las Vegas residency, both River and Remy joined their mom on stage. River confidently performed a duet of “Heartbeat Song”, while Remy danced his heart out to “Whole Lotta Woman”. Clarkson later shared how the moment took her by surprise, saying, “It was their idea, not mine, and they were just so happy. Watching them was like seeing them look at Spider-Man — pure awe and wonder. It was one of the most magical moments.”
