Lady Gaga was forced to briefly halt her Sydney concert on Saturday night after one of her dancers slipped and fell off the stage during heavy rain at Accor Stadium.

The incident occurred midway through the second Sydney date of Gaga’s Mayhem Ball world tour, as wet conditions made the stage increasingly hazardous. While performing, a dancer lost their footing and slid off the edge of the stage, prompting Gaga to stop the music immediately.

“Stop, stop. We just had an accident on the stage,” she told the crowd, bringing the performance to a standstill.

Gaga quickly left the stage to check on the dancer, asking if they were okay as the stadium fell silent. The pause lasted approximately five minutes while crew members assisted and dancers were fitted with additional grip on their footwear to prevent further incidents.

The crowd responded with loud cheers and applause once the situation was under control. Gaga then returned to the stage and reassured fans before continuing the show.

“Everyone just bear with us tonight with the rain,” she said. “We’re doing a lot of dancing up here, so it’s a slip and slide.”

The concert resumed without further interruption, with the dancer able to stand and continue after the safety adjustments were made.
