Zara Larsson brought warmth and spectacle to a wintery New York City as she took the stage at the 2025 iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball Presented by Capital One, held Friday night at Madison Square Garden.

The Swedish pop star opened her festive set with a theatrical entrance, carried onto the stage by her dancers before launching into “Pretty Ugly.” She quickly set a celebratory tone, blending high-energy choreography with holiday flair, including a playful mashup of “Deck the Halls” and her 2017 hit “Ain’t My Fault.”

Larsson continued the performance with tracks from her fifth studio album, Midnight Sun, released in September. Songs like “Midnight Sun” and “Crush” showcased the pop artist’s current era, which she has described as her most personal to date. Speaking previously at an iHeartRadio Album Release Party, Larsson explained the album draws inspiration from Swedish summer nights, where the sun never fully sets.

The set reached an unexpected highlight when Larsson invited a fan onstage during “Lush Life.” The fan, identified as Stephanie, confidently matched the choreography and sang along word for word, earning visible praise from Larsson, who described the moment as “so amazing” and even questioned whether the fan was a professional dancer.

Larsson closed her performance with a nostalgic finish, ending the night with her global hit “Symphony,” her 2017 collaboration with Clean Bandit.

Backstage ahead of the show, Larsson also revealed a surprising personal ambition, sharing that obtaining a helicopter pilot license is one of her “absolute dreams.”

The 2025 iHeartRadio Z100 Jingle Ball featured a lineup of major artists, including Ed Sheeran, Reneé Rapp, Conan Gray, Jessie Murph, Laufey, MONSTA X, Nelly, and Ravyn Lenae. Fans nationwide will be able to relive the event when the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour airs as a network special on ABC on December 17, with streaming available on Hulu the following day.
